David Toland, Lieutenant Governor of Kansas

David Toland left Kansas to work in Washington, D.C., with Mayor Anthony A. Williams. He held key leadership positions in the District of Columbia Economic Development and Planning offices.

When Mr. Toland returned to Kansas, he was appointed Secretary of Commerce for the state.

In 2021, he was sworn in as Lieutenant Governor of Kansas.
