Lisa

#WomenYouShouldKnow #BreastCancerSurvivor

A friend of mine, Lisa, had her annual mammogram in February, 2019, which revealed a suspicious area. It would be re-checked in February, 2020.

For unfortunate reasons, the follow-up mammogram was not obtained until August, 2020.

Breast cancer was diagnosed; the treatment was a bilateral mastectomy.

"My breast-cancer experience changed me for the better. Life is beautiful. I am grateful, and more loving."
