Amanda Knox told the truth. No one believed her.

Life became a nightmare for Amanda upon arriving in Italy to study, only to be wrongfully imprisoned for murder weeks later.

Between 2007 and 2015, she spent four years in an Italian prison, and eight years on trial for a murder she did not commit.

Now, Hulu presents The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox, starring Grace Van Patten as Amanda.

Episodes launch August 20, 2025, with two premieres, then weekly until October 1.

Amanda is a journalist, speaker, and author of the New York Times best-selling memoir, Waiting to be Heard (HarperCollins April 2013).
