Electric Police Bicycle

Leawood Police Department, Leawood, Kansas, is increasingly utilizing this eBike.

There are two lights: One flashes red and blue, the other white. The siren is the cylindrical object.

eBikes allow officers to more-easily patrol congested areas, narrow streets, and off-road locations. This means faster response times, and access to areas inaccessible to patrol cars.

Additionally, eBikes are quiet, make them effective for discretely approaching crime scenes.
