Nicki began singing and writing songs when she was 7 years old.

At 11, she picked up a guitar, then took lessons. This led to performances at open-mic events, and eventually to becoming a Hollywood finalist on American Idol (FOX, Season 11).

Based in the blues and soul, her music is beautifully diverse.
