Linda Lighton is an internationally-recognized ceramic sculptor.
She studied at the Factory of Visual arts in Seattle, University of Idaho, and received her BFA with honors from the Kansas City Art Institute.
Work and exhibits have taken her across the United States, and to 13 countries.
Linda's artwork is part of many national and international museum and private collections. Her 4' x 20' 'Ode to the Tallgrass Prairie' is featured in Kansas City's new airport.
For two years, Linda lived in a private section of the Colville Indian reservation of the Indigenous Nez Percé people in eastern Washington. She built an octagonal tree house and lived there with her young daughter and a friend.
She is Founder and Director of the Lighton International Artist Exchange Program, responsible for sending more than 150 artists to 63 countries.
