Movie Lines

Lines I found notable from the movie, "How to Train Your Dragon" (Dreamworks 2025):

Medieval Vikings and dragons have been bitter enemies for centuries. Dragons steal livestock and endanger people in the village, prompting Vikings to aggressively attack them: "...killing a dragon is everything around here."

Hiccup (Mason Thames), insightful teenage son of Stoick, the Chieftan (Gerard Butler): "They're not what we think they are. We don't have to kill them. They defend themselves, that's all."

Hiccup, hypothesizing dragons may simply be trying to survive as Vikings take land and resources: "I'm just saying, maybe we're part of the problem."

Hiccup: "I wouldn't kill him (a dragon) because he looked just as frightened as I did."

Astrid (Nico Parker), teenage warrior, to Hiccup, on being insightful: "You have something I don't; something none of us have."

Movie Lines

Lines I found notable from the movie, "Hello Beautiful" (2025):

Willow (Tricia Helfer), a successful, vivacious model facing a devastating life event: "It was a warm day in December when I decided to kill myself."

Kahlil, Willow's husband (Tarek Bishara): "I wish that you could see yourself through my eyes."

Willow: ...that I should just end it, give up, so everyone around me doesn't suffer so much."

Willow: "More drastic steps? I am already on a roller coaster in hell. There's something worse?"

Kahlil: "You are fighting for our kids; you are fighting for us."

Maryam, Willow's mother-in-law (Susan Shaloub Larkin): "I should be apologizing to you, for not seeing who you really are. Your courage and determination astound me."

The last spoken words in the movie are from Kahlil: "Hello, beautiful."

Blood Alcohol Content

A Blood Alcohol Content of .08% is the "per se" limit; it is automatically illegal to drive at or above this level of intoxication, regardless of observed impairment.

Driving at or above this level is a criminal offense and can result in arrest, vehicle impoundment, license suspension, and potentially jail time and fines.

Thank you Leawood, Kansas, police, for keeping us safe.
