My subjects are newsmakers: Actors who have starred in Academy Award-winning movies, Olympic gold medalists, book authors, runway fashion models, titans of business, U.S. Surgeon General, and two astronauts. I am an active member of the Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television & Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA), and the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS).

Even the most-experienced professional drummers can develop complications.
On one of the hottest, most-humid evenings this summer, Aaron Hetherington performed non-stop with The Suburbans for over two hours.
It was brutal, and he never missed a beat.
Intense playing, perspiration, and high humidity can cause drummers to grip their sticks differently as they attempt to maintain a secure, yet relaxed grip. This can increase friction and discomfort.
Drummers also tape on their hands in instances like this.

I was reminded how good this band is, when two audience members, a week after the performance, shared their enthusiasm with me.

Amanda Knox told the truth. No one believed her.
Life became a nightmare for Amanda upon arriving in Italy to study, only to be wrongfully imprisoned for murder weeks later.
Between 2007 and 2015, she spent four years in an Italian prison, and eight years on trial for a murder she did not commit.
Now, Hulu presents The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox, starring Grace Van Patten as Amanda.
The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox
Episodes launch August 20, 2025, with two premieres, then weekly until October 1.
Amanda is a journalist, speaker, and author of the New York Times best-selling memoir, Waiting to be Heard (HarperCollins April 2013).
She was delightful.
