My subjects are newsmakers: Actors who have starred in Academy Award-winning movies, Olympic gold medalists, book authors, runway fashion models, titans of business, U.S. Surgeon General, and two astronauts. I am an active member of the Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television & Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA), and the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS).

I posted a photograph January 25, showing the statue of a police officer. The base on which the sculpture stands had been spray painted by anti-law enforcement vandals, and it was wrapped in plastic to avoid further desecration.
Someone left flowers.
The blue ribbon honors officers who, day and night, stand guard, and those who have died doing so.

Here are opposing ethical considerations:
1) It is possible for the prisoner, who has committed a heinous crime, to be vaccinated before the victim.
2) More than 450,000 incarcerated people and prison workers in the United States have been infected with the virus, and nearly 2,400 have died. Some of the inmates are in for short sentences. Some may be innocent.

This places inmates ahead of Kansas residents aged 18 to 64 with severe medical risks, who are in the third phase.
The Kansas Senate is reviewing this in heated discussions.

Many Black sports figures politely turn down appearance and speaking requests to celebrate Black History Month. Often, they are contacted only once during the year; for the February commemoration. They wonder why there is no invitation to speak in other months to acknowledge contributions of Black men and women.
The prominent figure respectfully declines the invitation, frequently without explanation.
Picture here is retired Kansas Senator Ulysses Lee "Rip" Gooch. He became a candidate for the Senate seat because people told him his voice was needed. They were right.
