In 1988, Reggie Griffin was serving a 20-year prison sentence. While incarcerated, he was convicted of murdering a fellow inmate, and sentenced to death.
Reggie did not commit the murder. It was 2011 when the Missouri Supreme Court agreed to a retrial, ruling in his favor. Charges were dismissed by the prosecution in 2013, and Reggie was allowed to leave prison.
