Dan Rather was the first television journalist to report the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

He covered Watergate, and the impeachment of President Nixon, then went on to anchor CBS Evening News for 24 years.

AMC Will Distribute A Movie

AMC Theatres will bypass Hollywood studios and release a movie themselves, making the theatre chain the distributor. This is unprecedented.

The movie is the documentary of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, and it was the Swift family who approached AMC.

It will also be distributed to other chains, and independent theatres.

Showings begin October 13, 2023.

Advance-sales are the highest in AMC's 103-year history.
