My subjects are newsmakers: Actors who have starred in Academy Award-winning movies, Olympic gold medalists, book authors, runway fashion models, titans of business, U.S. Surgeon General, and two astronauts. I am an active member of the Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television & Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA), and the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS).
The world's largest remaining stand of tallgrass prairie is in the Flint Hills of Kansas.
"Prescribed burning", is a method to preserve and restore prairie land by setting fire to the native grass, then allowing it to regrow. While burning, there is an intense rainbow of flaming colors.
This building is a museum. It was designed to represent the flames during a prairie burn, using dichroic glass.
I intentionally made this photograph on the opposite side of the main entrance. Just as a fire has no front or back, the building may be viewed from 360 degrees; there is no distinguishable "back" side.

I love the angle of view, and the graphic structure of the crosswalks.

Katie is moving her splendid restaurant to Westport, in the former Bluestem space.
